Last year we launched a call for scripts for the second series of Sound Waves, a season of self-contained, audio plays.
We were delighted to receive scripts from all over the world and, having completed the selection process, we are looking for talented performers of all ages (from 18+) and genders to act in these exciting, inventive and wonderfully diverse audio plays.
Auditions will take place on Wednesday 26th January (from 7pm) and Monday 31st January (from 7pm) at United Response, 35 North Street, York YO1 6JB.

Interested in having your script produced as an audio play? Then read on because Off The Rock Productions are looking for scripts for Sound Waves: Series Two – a new season of audio plays.
Your script can be on any theme or subject and involve any number of characters.
It should be 10-15 minutes in length.
Your script should be an original work that has not been performed before in any medium.
We do not accept adaptations of existing work.
One entry per person is permitted.
Judging will be anonymous so the writer’s name should not appear anywhere in the script.
Please attach scripts in PDF or Word format.

Spectrum’s Edge
a series of fantastical audio plays by Daniel Cousins, Sophie Davis, Sam Reynolds and Jamie Wilkinson.
Fancy playing the world’s greatest firefighter? Or a bus driver with a Strictly Come Dancing fixation? What about a girl who used to be a swan but is now a cat? Perhaps a talking anthropomorphic rat floats your boat? There’s also a bloke called Phil.
We’re looking for talented performers of all ages (from 18+) and genders to play these characters and many more in Spectrum’s Edge.
Auditions will take place on Sunday 25th July (from 12noon) and Wednesday 28th July (from 7pm) at United Response, 35 North Street, York YO1 6JB.
